FRESHERS AND FRIENDSHIP DAY CELEBRATION IN DON BOSCO ACADEMY, NALGONDA

The 2^nd of August was marked as a memorable day in the life of every fresher at Don Bosco Degree College. The Freshers’ day and the Friendship day was a day that was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness. The chief guest for the day was Rev. Fr. Anand the director of the college, Rev. Fr. Balashowry reddy Principle, and Rev. Fr. Baskar the Head Master of Don Bosco High School. The Principal Fr. Balashowry reddy in his address to the students, recalled to the student the meaning and significance of the programme. He also stressed on the importance of how the Students are the leaders for tomorrow’s society and their contribution to the people. The dress code for the Freshers’ day and Friendship day celebration was ‘Dress your Best’. The celebration started of sharp at 10. 3.0am with the opening prayer followed by the welcome address by Rev. Fr. Balashowreddy our Principle. The Freshers were formally welcomed into the Don Bosco Academy, the chief guest and the other guest of the day was introduced. After the introduction of the guest all the Freshers and the other students were made to stand up and take the pledge of initiation into the Don Bosco Degree College which was led by Mr. Arun the Telugu lecture in the college.

The energetic and enthusiastic emcees of the show were Asif, Ambika, Raju and Mohan, second year degree students of the college. The program kicked off with the introduction round and the Fresher of 2010 were welcomed. All the participants were well dressed, conforming to the dress code and walked the slope in their own style. The MC kept the spectators busy by continuing programme, with all the boogie- boogie.

The Second year Degree Students and the cool seniors put up various performances like dancing, singing and skits to entertain their cool Freshers. All the juniors were seen having a great time. The Director of the College Rev. Fr. Anand the sponsors had given out various gift and prizes for the winners and participants. This year the college had planned the Freshers’ party and friendship day celebration in a very unique and special way. In accordance with this, the college students had undergone a good ground of planning for the celebration with the help of the Management, Staff, and other co-workers in the college.

The program concluded with the vote of thanks. All the freshers including the senior’s rocked the show and enjoyed the celebrations. In the concluding phase all the Freshers thanked the principal, staff and seniors students for hosting such a nice program that they could cherish lifelong.
